Dr. Ahmed G. Hegazi is working as a professor of Microbiology & Immunology at National Research Center, Dept. Zoonotic Diseases from 2004.He also has work experience as prestigious chair in Dept.of Parasitology and Animal Diseases,National Research Center. He received many awards like Senior Scientist Prize of National Research Center(1996),National Scientific Prize In Biological Sciences(1990),The Second Best Research Paper award From International Congress of propolis, Bones Aires, Argentina(2000) and many more. He Conducted training courses on Clinical Microbiology, National Research Center in 1979. He has 225 articles in national and international scientific journals along with four patents.

Biography :

Dr. Gaurav Arora is a Vitreo-retinal Consultant and regional medical head at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Hyderabad. Dr. Arora has vast experience in diagnosis and management of various retinal conditions. He has skill, proficiency & experience of managing Vitreoretinal conditions, with expertise in Phacoemulsification surgeries. He has special expertise in sutureless Glued IOL technique. He has extensive experience of managing diabetic retinopathies, Vasculopathies, retinal holes and breaks etc. He has presented many papers and videos at national level. He has worked with Dr Lipshitz (Israel) for the unique Mirror Telescopic Intraocular (MTI) lens study. Dr. Arora has also participated as an Ophthalmologist in WHO- N.P.C.B’s rapid assessment of Trachoma survey and as an Epidemiologist in the N.P.C.B’s rapid assessment of avoidable blindness survey in 2006. His current area of interest is research in macular pathologies.

Luigi Donato, born in Catania on 9th July 1986, graduated in Biology from University of Messina, Italy. He has completed his PhD in “Applied Biology and Experimental Medicine” at the age of 32 years from University of Messina, and he frequents the Laboratories of Molecular Genetics, Department of Biomedical and Dental Sciences and Morphofunctional Imaging, of the same University. He published more than 25 papers in reputed journals and participated in more than 20 national and international congresses. Moreover, he is a member of “Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology" (ARVO) and of “Associazione Italiana di Biologia e Genetica” (AIBG). His main research fields are focused on retinal dystrophies and omics approaches.

She completed 2 years SR Ship at SRMS-IMS, Bareilly in 2012, after that she worked as an assistant professor in Rajshree Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly till 2016. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at SRMS IMS. She has experience in Extracapsular Cataract Extraction, Small Incision Cataract Surgery, Keratoplasty, Phacoemulsification and many more. She has also attended many CME accredited conferences. She has published more than 7 papers.

Dr. Sanjay Kamat brings extensive medical experience to his “hometown” roots. Raised in Bucks County, he lives in Washington Crossing now with his wife and two children. Dr. Kamat graduated at the top of his class at Pennsbury High School and completed his B.S. at Penn State in premedicine where he was President of the Premedical Honor Society. He earned an M.S. in physiology at Penn State where he taught Anatomy and Physiology. He was also a teacher at Widener University, the Community College of Philadelphia and Bucks County Community College. Dr. Kamat attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri and completed his internship and residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was chief resident. In Philadelphia for seven years, Dr. Kamat worked at Albert Einstein Medical Center performing complicated cataract, oculoplastic trauma, and anterior segment surgeries. And, he was an ophthalmologist at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital. He’s the kind of expert who “puts patients first,” he says, “even if that means referring them to another expert who might know more than I do.” Board-certified and a fellow of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, he is a clinical instructor at the prestigious Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia and is also the ophthalmologist for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s Northeast Regional Center. He is on staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, Aria Bucks County Campus and Campus Eye Group in Hamilton, NJ.

Biography :

Boris Gramatikov obtained his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Biomedical Engineering in Germany, and his Ph.D. in Bulgaria. He has completed a number of postdoctoral studies in Germany, Italy and the United States. He joined the faculty of the Biomedical Engineering Department of The Johns Hopkins University in 1996, and has been working in the Laboratory of Ophthalmic Instrumentation Development at The Wilmer Eye Institute since 2000. His areas of expertise include electronics, optoelectronics, computers, computer modeling, signal/image processing, data analysis, instrumentation design, biophotonics, ophthalmic and biomedical optics, polarization optics, all applied to the development of diagnostic methods and devices for ophthalmology and vision research. His team has developed a series of pediatric vision screeners. He has over 120 publications, 40 of which in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. He serves as a reviewer and editorial board member with a number of technical and medical journals.

Biography :

Mohd Hasmizam Razali has a PhD degree in Materials Engineering (Nanomaterials) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He has published more than 50 technical papers related to the nanomaterials and functional materials research. He has been awarded Who’s Who in the World for 3 years in a row 2013, 2014 and 2015 by The Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board. In 2014, the Cambridge Biographical Centre listed him as one of 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, due its ability to produce nanomaterials with tremendous improvement compared to conventional commercial materials. On top of that, he is also the recipient of the MAWHIBA Award and GENEVA Gold Medal Award in 1999.

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

Transportation

Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from 3rd Global Ophthalmology Summit Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied Academies Ltd is an objective third-party non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Cancellation, Postponement, and Transfer of Registration

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com

Cancellation Policy

If 3rd Global Ophthalmology Summit Group cancels this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Group event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.

Postponement

If 3rd Global Ophthalmology Summit Group postpones an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Ltd event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if the registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com. Details must be included the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number, and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied Academies Ltd if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied Academies Ltd will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied Academies Ltd, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

  • Before 90 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 Service Fee
  • Within 90-60 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund
  • Within 60 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied Academies Ltd will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancelling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
